Who we are

Easy Power BI Dashboards is a brand of Lightray Solutions, an independent US-based consultancy. It was founded by Edward Pinela, a Microsoft-certified Power BI consultant with 20+ years on the Microsoft platform, who has spent his career turning messy spreadsheets and disconnected systems into clean, trustworthy dashboards that leaders actually use to make decisions, all built on the Microsoft Power BI platform (opens in new tab).

We are deliberately senior. The consultant who scopes your request is the same person who builds your data model, writes your DAX, and designs your reports. There is no layer of account managers between you and the practitioner doing the work, and nothing is quietly passed to an offshore team after the kickoff.

How we work

We deliver senior-led help through Power BI Flex Support: you buy a block of prepaid hours and spend them on demand across any Power BI task. Three commitments shape every engagement, and they are the same reasons clients come back to refill:

• Prepaid Flex hours, scoped per task. Your hours are banked immediately — no contracts, no recurring charges. Submit a request and we reply with a scope estimate and the hours needed before any work begins. Hours are deducted only for work you approve, and they never expire.

A dashboard is only valuable if people trust the numbers, so quality control is built into the process rather than bolted on at the end. Every model goes through a structured review before it reaches you:

• We reconcile key measures against a source of truth you already trust — an existing report, a finance close, or a system export — so the totals match what your team expects.
• We sanity-check DAX (opens in new tab) for edge cases like blanks, date boundaries, and filter context, which is where most reporting bugs actually hide.
• We review every visual for clear labelling, honest scales, and accessible contrast, so the dashboard reads correctly at a glance and meets accessibility expectations.
• We walk you through the report before launch and document refresh, security, and ownership so your team can run it confidently after we step back.
