What exactly do you build from a HubSpot portal?
We build a semantic model over your HubSpot objects and a report set on top of it: pipeline and stage-weighted forecast, deal velocity and stage aging, lead source and campaign ROI, rep and team performance, and win/loss patterns. It is built to your pipelines and custom properties, not a generic template.
The starting point is always your definitions. Which pipeline counts as new business, what a qualified deal means in your portal, whether renewal deals belong in the forecast, and which owner field is authoritative when a deal changes hands. Those choices live in the model as documented DAX rather than in someone's spreadsheet formula, so every report in the workspace agrees. If you want the broader picture of how we build models and measures, see our work on Power BI data modeling and DAX.
HubSpot reporting vs the Power BI version
Here is where HubSpot's native reporting stops and where the dashboard we build picks up — the same CRM records, made joinable, historical, and forecastable.

How do you connect HubSpot to Power BI?
Honestly: there is no first-party HubSpot connector in Power BI. We authenticate to HubSpot's REST API with a private app token and pull the objects you need through Power Query, or stage the data in a small database first when portal volume or API limits make direct pulls fragile.
Power Query's Web connector (opens in new tab), documented by Microsoft, is the mechanism for API-based sources like HubSpot, and it is the path we use when volumes are modest. On larger portals we land the objects in a staging database on a schedule, then model from there — fewer API calls, faster refresh, and far less breakage when HubSpot rate limits bite. We are not affiliated with HubSpot or Microsoft and never imply a partnership; we use their supported, documented interfaces and write the chosen method into the scope estimate you approve.
How much does a HubSpot dashboard cost?
You buy prepaid Flex hours that never expire: Starter 20h at $125/hr ($2,500), Growth 40h at $115/hr ($4,600), or Power 80h at $100/hr ($8,000). A first HubSpot pipeline and forecast build typically fits inside one block. No project minimum, no retainer — refill only when you're ready.
Traditional Power BI firms charge $175–250/hr, set project minimums, want $10K+ to start, let unused hours expire, and don't begin for 4–6 weeks. Flex Support flips that: $100–125/hr, no minimums, banked hours that never expire, and a start this week. You buy a block, email your request, and we send a scope and hours estimate before any work — hours deduct only for approved builds. Read how prepaid Flex hours work, or compare the model on our affordable Power BI consulting page.
How fast is delivery, and how does refresh work?
After you approve the scope estimate, most builds ship in 3–5 business days, senior-led start to finish. We publish to your workspace and set scheduled refresh so pipeline and forecast views update on their own, within Microsoft's documented Power BI refresh limits, with incremental refresh on larger portals.
Microsoft's published data refresh limits (opens in new tab) allow up to eight scheduled refreshes per day on Power BI Pro, with more on higher capacities. For HubSpot the practical constraint is usually API call volume rather than Power BI itself, which is why we set incremental refresh so each run pulls only changed records. We monitor the refresh and fix breakages from your banked hours, so the reporting keeps working long after the build — the part sync tools leave to you.
Who is this build for?
It fits RevOps leaders, sales managers, and founders whose CRM is HubSpot and who have no in-house BI team. If your finance data sits elsewhere, we build the matching side too — see our QuickBooks Power BI dashboards or NetSuite Power BI dashboards. Teams on a different CRM should start with our Salesforce Power BI dashboards or, if your pipeline lives in Zoho, our Zoho CRM dashboard build.
The ideal fit is a small or mid-sized company running its whole revenue motion in HubSpot, a RevOps team of one, or an agency and services firm that needs client-ready reporting fast. It also suits teams whose existing Power BI report on HubSpot has quietly broken and needs a senior fix — that's covered by the same prepaid hours. Contact is form-only; send your request and we'll reply with a scope estimate.
